The Murry Ranch Hay Yard offers locally grown hay as well as hay supplied from states nearby, all of which is given a nutritional analysis value so you know what you’re getting.
Is your horse used for competition, or is the horse a pet for the family? The horse’s activities and lifestyle require different types of feed, so at Murry Ranch our team takes that into account to find the feed with the right nutritional requirements for your animals.
- Meadowgrass Like its name implies, meadowgrass is a grass that grows in a meadow, so there will be a variety of different grasses in the feed. This type of feed is great for an idle horse. The meadowgrass is grown at the Reno hay yard property, and we often have a waiting list for our locally grown hay! Horses can have reactions or allergies to certain types of feed, just as humans have food allergies. If your horse has allergies your best bet would be to opt for meadowgrass.
- Pasture Grass Seeded Grass, a homogeneous blend to allow a nice consistency.
- Orchard Grass A Seeded Grass for your horse.
- Orchard Grass & Alfalfa Mix A nice mix for your horse.
